How does powder booth work?

A booth fans draw air through filters. as the cartridge filters load, air flow decreases and the negative pressure rises within the air handler. a timer activates a system of air purging valves that clear the cartridge filters of the accumulated powder to ensure max filter life. Pneumatic pulsing system with adjustable pulse time will assist in removing the powder from the filter. The air is filtered and clean enough to discharged back to the outside atmosphere.


The powder-coated steel booth provides a well-lit and bright working space. The minimum air extraction volume is monitored constantly and anacoustic. The integrated functions and ease of operation provide ideal conditions for efficient and friendly manual coating.


1、 Attention shall be paid to the installation and hanging of coated objects on the coating production line. In order to ensure that the workpiece is in the best position in the process of dip coating, the mounting method of hangers and objects on the coating production line is designed by trial dip in advance. The maximum plane of the coated object shall be close to the vertical, and other planes shall be 10 ° - 40 ° to the horizontal, so that the coating surface of the residual paint can flow out smoothly.

2、 In order to prevent the diffusion of solvent in the workshop and dust falling into the paint tank during coating on the coating production line, the paint tank shall be protected.

3、 After large objects are dipped in the coating production line, they shall be sent to the drying room after the solvent is basically volatilized.

4、 Pay attention to the measurement of the viscosity of the coating constantly during coating. Each shift shall measure the viscosity 1-2 times. If the viscosity increases by more than 10% of the original viscosity, the solvent shall be added in time. When adding solvent, the dip coating shall be stopped. After mixing, determine the viscosity, and then continue the operation.

5、 The thickness of paint film mainly depends on the speed of object lifting and the viscosity of paint liquid on the coating line. After controlling the viscosity of the paint liquid according to the above requirements, the coating production line shall determine the appropriate lifting rate according to the maximum speed limit of about 30um paint film and different equipment. Lift the coated object evenly at this rate. The lifting speed is fast and the film is thin; the lifting speed is slow and the film is thick and uneven.

6、 When dip coating is carried out on the coating production line, sometimes the thickness difference of the coating film on the upper part and the lower part is caused, especially the fat accumulation on the lower edge of the coating. In order to improve the decorative property of the coating, the excess paint drops can be removed by hand with a brush when the coating is dipped in a small batch, and these paint drops can also be removed by centrifugal force or electrostatic force equipment.

7、 When the wooden parts are dipped in the coating production line, the time shall not be too long, so as to prevent the wood from inhaling excessive coating, resulting in slow drying and waste.

8、 Strengthen the ventilation equipment to prevent the harm of solvent vapor; pay attention to the arrangement of fire prevention and regularly check the coating production line.
